To assure preparedness, students planning to enroll in programs offered by the department should have an ACT Math score of 19 and an ACT English score of 22. Alternately, students should be placed in MATH1020 Intermediate Algebra and Applications and either ENGL1101 Discourse and Composition (A) or ENGL1102 Discourse and Composition (B), or ENGL1102H Discourse and Composition Honors via the university's placement test.
